Spencer Roorda is the son of Brian and Liesl Roorda. He was born on August 4, 1992 and has 3 siblings: Sidney, Waverly and Isabella.
Spencer’s favorite activities have been playing high school sports while being with his friends. His best memory was going to the dome for the 2006 football championship football game.
Spencer’s extracurricular activities have been football (4), basketball (4), track (2), baseball (4), racing 4-wheelers (5) and Speech & Drama (4).
His favorite movie is Inception, and his favorite saying is “The trouble with normal is it always gets worse.”
His gift to underclassmen goes to Bryan Gregson: “Put it away, Gregson,” and his advice to everyone is to “participate in as many extracurricular activities with your friends as possible.”
Spencer is excited for graduation because he is ready to move on to the next stage but will find it difficult to let go of everything he has gotten attached to at Montezuma.
His college plans are to attend ISU and study mechanical engineering.
