Elizabeth Nichole Jones


Elizabeth Nichole Jones was born June 15, 1993 and is the daughter of Mary Jones and Richard Jones. She has five siblings, Justin Wise, Alisa Yutzy, Jarod Yutzy, Anthony Carty and Knoa Jones. 
Awards and achievements Lizzie has received are varsity letters for volleyball and softball and an award for “Most Hustle” for volleyball 2010-2011. She has been involved in volleyball (3), basketball (1), track (2) and softball (2). Her favorite things to do are run, hang out with friends and eat. Her best memories are of beating North Mahaska during the first round of district volleyball and having pizza parties with her class.Her most embarrassing moment was when she was walking to class and Alaina pulled her pants down. 
Her favorite show is House and her favorite saying is, “Only the strong survive.” Her gift to underclassmen is, “Don’t slack off because it will come back and bite you.” Her advice before graduating is, “Do your best because it will show.” Her biggest inspirations are her family and friends who kept pushing her through the years to do her best and not give up. 
Lizzie is excited to graduate because she will be out on her own and get to make her own choices.

Shelby Marie Louise Peter McCulley




Shelby Marie Louise Peter McCulley was born September 6, 1993 and is the daughter of Michael Peter and Debbie and Bob McCulley. She has six siblings, Michelle, Matt, Alex, Bobby, Andy and Mackenzie. 
Her awards and achievements include being on the B Honor Roll and being the President of FCCLA her junior year. While in high school, she has been involved in FCCLA (3) and yearbook (2). Her favorite thing to do is make spaghetti sauce because she’s “pretty good at it.” Her best memories in high school are eating lunch with her friends and working in the greenhouse with Alaina. Her most embarrassing moment was when she ran away from all the spiders in Horticulture class. Her favorite song is “I Say Hello” by J. Black. 
Shelby’s gift to underclassmen is to Bobby, Chelsey, Hopwood and all her friends: “Give ‘em heck!” Her advice before graduating is: “Tough’n up. School will be over before you know it!”
Shelby is excited to graduate because she is ready to get out of small-town Iowa and do something fun. Her future goals are to move to Texas and major in forensic science and criminal justice.

Vincent Ryan Buchanan



Vincent Ryan Buchanan was born January 7, 1993 and is the son of Curtis Kumbier and Janie Dillinghim. He has eight siblings, Gabe, Shania, Keith, Curtis, Gavin, Devon, Dalton and Madison. 
His awards and achievements include being on the B Honor Roll, varsity football letter and Academic All-District for football. His favorite things to do are fish, shoot his bow and draw. 
In high school, he has been involved in wrestling (1) and football (4). His best memory is of the last football game this year. His biggest inspiration is his dad. 
His favorite song is “Hotel California” by the Eagles and his favorite show is Family Guy. His favorite saying is, “I’m just sayin’.” 
Vinny is excited to graduate because he wants to be done but he is not excited because he doesn’t want to leave his friends. His advice before graduating is, “Do your work and turn it in on time.” His goal is to manage his own restaurant. 
His plans for college are to attend DMACC for the culinary program. In ten years, Vinny sees himself managing a chain restaurant.

Kayla Marie-Leanne Evans



Kayla Marie-Leanne Evans was born July 23, 1993 and is the daughter of Traci Murray. She has two siblings, Maranda Evans and Alex Hoffpauir. 
Her favorite things to do are write and sing. In high school, she has been involved in choir (3). Her best memories were made in Government class with Ms. Orr and all the seniors. Her most embarrassing moment was when she slipped and fell at lunch with her tray full of food. Her biggest inspiration is her mother. 
Kayla’s favorite song is “Friday” by Rebecca Black and her favorite saying is, “Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you.”
Her gift to an underclassman is to her brother Alex – “Study hard, and don’t forget school is supposed to be fun. When you graduate, things change and you have more responsibilities. Make sure you live your life to the fullest and never give up on your dreams.” 
Her advice before graduating is, “Do not put off anything, start applying for colleges as soon as possible.” 
Kayla is excited to graduate because she is ready to begin her life on her own and to make her and her family proud. Her goals in the future are to live in her own place, have a family and her own business. 
Her college plans are to attend William Penn for Mechanical Engineering. In ten years, Kayla sees herself with a family, living in Florida and working as a mechanical engineer.

Olivia Eileen Tribby


Olivia Eileen Tribby was born on October 20, 1992 and is the daughter of Yvonne Tribby and Kevin Tribby. She has three siblings, Jacob Malaney, Nichole De Fransisco and Andraya Tribby. 
Her awards and achievements throughout high school include the B Honor Roll, Honorable Mention for volleyball, Prom queen, MVP for JV volleyball, Best Defensive Player for varsity volleyball, I ratings at district and state for Speech & Drama, Shining Star award for the play and played in the semi-final match in volleyball. She has been involved in softball (2), volleyball (4), Speech & Drama (4) and Individual Speech (1). 
Her favorite things to do are to play volleyball with her Bravettes and to scare people. Her best memory is when she aced the last serve against North Mahaska for the first round of districts. 
Her most embarrassing moment was when she was working late in the ICN room at the school one night with KT. They were dancing on the tables and the janitors were watching the whole time. 
Her favorite TV show is Family Guy and her favorite song is “Name” by the Goo Goo Dolls. Her favorite saying is, “Everything happens for a reason.” 
Olivia’s biggest inspirations are anybody who can withstand her. Her gifts to underclassmen are to Alexis Ferguson – “Hold on to the person you are. I’m going to miss you!” Mariah Hirsch – “Let’s play barbies!”and Emily Long –  "Thank you for keeping me sane during volleyball."
Her advice before graduating is, “Don’t be afraid to lose yourself; sometimes it’s the only way to find yourself.” 
Olivia is excited to graduate, because she’s ready to live her own life and meet new people, but is also afraid of change and will miss the people she grew up with. 
Her goals in the future are to make someone smile every day and make a difference in somebody else’s life. She plans to attend UNI and major in social work. In ten years, Olivia sees herself helping others who are in need.

James Tanner McCain


James Tanner McCain was born May 5, 1992 and is the son of Murlin and Susan McCain. He has two siblings, Julie and Jared. 
His awards and achievements in high school are being voted the Winter Sports King, wrestling captain and many cattle showing awards. 
Throughout high school he has been involved in wrestling (4), FFA (4) and cross country (1). His favorite things to do are hang out with friends and show cattle. His best memories of high school are of his senior year. His biggest inspiration is Mr. Anderson. 
His favorite song is “Keg in the Closet” by Kenny Chesney and his favorite TV shows are Ice Road Truckers, Swamp People and Ax Men. His favorite saying is, “Wie wollen party.” His gift to an underclassman is to Connor Johnston –  “ Keep the alliance going, Raccoon.” His advice before graduating is, “Do your homework and enjoy high school.” 
James is ready to graduate, because he is excited to move on and start a new chapter of his life in college and find his career. His goals in the future are to graduate college, find a job and make money. 
For college, he plans to attend Kirkwood Community College for Ag Business and, possibly, continue his education at Iowa State. In ten years, James sees himself working a steady job and thinking about settling down.
