Cheyenne Nicole Klos

Cheyenne Nicole Klos was born on June 14, 1994 and is the daughter of John and Brenda Klos. She has three sisters, Brandi, Lauren and Carmen. 

Cheyenne’s favorite activities include riding motorcycles with her dad, volunteering at PALS, playing sports with her friends and teaching her dogs new tricks. 

Her extracurricular activities are volleyball (2) and school plays (1).

Cheyenne’s best memories from MHS include being in the school play “Murder in the Knife Room” during her junior year and the Senior Powder Puff game. 

Her most embarrassing moment was when she was on crutches and slipped while in the lunch line. 

Cheyenne’s biggest inspiration is her older sister Brandi because no matter what was going to happen and what she was going through, she fought through it to her last struggling days. 

Cheyenne’s gift to the underclassmen is, “Don’t procrastinate; it takes up more time to procrastinate than to actually get it done right away.”

Her favorite quote is, “Love isn’t about finding the perfect person; it is about seeing an imperfect person perfectly.”

Cheyenne’s plans for the future are to train rescue and police dogs. To achieve her goal, she is going to attend the online college of Animal Behavior for veterinary assistance and obedience training. 

She is excited for graduation because she can move back to her hometown of New London, as well as take care of her grandmother and see all of her old friends.

Andrea Jean Farrington

Andrea Jean Farrington was born on June 23, 1994 and is the daughter of Dave and Cheryl Farrington. She has one sister, Cassie Farrington.

Her favorite activities are hanging out with friends, attending after-school activities and sleeping. 

Andrea’s extra-curricular activities include vocal (3), basketball cheerleading (3), football cheerleading (2), yearbook (2) and school plays (1).

Her best memories while attending MHS are of the friendships and bonds she has made with others. Andrea’s most embarrassing moment was during her sophomore year when she found herself stranded outside of the curtains after the play “Into the Woods.” 

Her biggest  inspirations are her mom and dad for being so supportive of all of her decisions and teaching her not to put up with people’s negative comments and to do what makes her happy. 

Andrea’s gift to the underclassmen goes to her sister Cassie: “Have fun without me next year, and keep your head up. I love you, Sis.” To everyone else, “Get what needs to be done done early so senior year is not such a stressor. Make memories while you are here; you will remember them forever.” 

Andrea’s favorite quote is, “It may be stormy now, but it can’t rain forever.”

She plans to attend Hawkeye Community College for two years before transferring to UNI for Occupational Therapy. 

Andrea is excited for graduation because she is ready to move on to bigger and better things.

Natalie Jean Wheeler

Natalie Jean Wheeler was born on April 13, 1994 and is the daughter of Harold and Pat Wheeler. She has two sisters, Audrey and Allison, as well as a twin brother, Nathan.

Natalie’s awards and achievements include being a member of the 2011 Ag. Communications State and National Champion team, being a member of the 2^nd place State Color Guard team and being the 2011 Ag. Communications State Individual Champion. She has also made the A Honor Roll all four years of high school. 

Natalie’s extracurricular activities include soccer (7), FFA (4), Speech & Drama (4), band (4), vocal (4), school plays and musicals (4), Color Guard (4), volleyball (3), National Honor Society (3) and cheerleading (1).

Her favorite activity is to hang out with her family and watch movies. 

Natalie believes that her best memory while attending Montezuma will be going down to Orlando, Florida, this summer and performing with the Pep Band. 

Her most embarrassing moment was singing the wrong lyrics during her Musical Theater performance on Dress Rehearsal night. 

Natalie’s biggest inspiration comes from her family because she knows they will always be there for her no matter what.

Natalie’s gift to underclassmen goes to her sister Allison, “Try not to have too much fun while we are all at college. Love ya!” and to Kayla Werner, “Pointless stories always have the best endings…laughter!”

Natalie’s favorite quote is from Luke 12:25, “You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it.”

Natalie plans to attend a four-year college and major in biology and then hopes to attend Veterinary School at Iowa State. After college she plans to get married and start a family.

Natalie is excited to graduate and see what God has planned for her beyond Montezuma.

Natalie Grace Elizabeth Kirton

Natalie Grace Elizabeth Kirton was born on February 21, 1994 and is the daughter of the late Mary Rodrigue, the late Carlton Kirton and Bethany Kirton. She has three sisters, Shannon Grundmeier, Yvette Rivera and Kayleigh Kirton. She also has one brother, Zack Kirton.

Natalie’s extracurricular activities include Yearbook (4), Speech and Drama (3), SPRINT (2) and FCCLA (1). She went to state level for Speech and Drama. She also placed third in state for Personality Profile and for Editorial in the State Newspaper.

Her hobbies are drawing, reading and spending time with others. 

Her best memories are the days in class when everyone just relaxes and has fun. 

Her most embarrassing moments are the moments when someone says something to you and then ignores your response because they are really talking to someone behind you. 

Natalie doesn’t think there is any one person that is her biggest inspiration. She feels that many wonderful people that she looks up to surround her. 

Her gifts to underclassmen are to: her sister Kayleigh: “You are beautiful! You are also very smart and I can’t wait to hear all about what you learn in first grade next year,” Mariah Hirsch: “Don’t kill anymore fish, and I’ll miss working hard with you at Super Valu!” and  Kayla Werner: “Follow the butterflies and find those Horcruxes. I’ll miss you!”

Her favorite quote is from John 14: 27: “I am leaving you with a gift- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give you is a gift the world cannot give. So do not be troubled or afraid.”

She is very excited but also very terrified for graduation because there will be so many changes.

Natalie plans to attend Central College in Pella and pursue her artistic skills and her love for literature.

Bridgette LaChrista Moore

Bridgette LaChrista Moore born on June 23, 1993 and is the daughter of David and Deanna Moore. She has two sisters, Jessica and Haylie Moore. 

Bridgette’s extra-curricular activities include FFA (4), Speech & Drama (4), 4-H (3), Track (1) and Softball (1). She has been on the 2011 State Champion Soils team and placed first in the individual State Soil test. She was also on the 2010 State Champion Soils team and has won many awards for horses and cattle. 

Bridgette’s favorite hobby is hanging out with her family and friends. 

Her best memories from attending MHS include going to FFA events and spending time with friends at school events. She feels she has way too many funny and embarrassing moments to mention just one. 

Bridgette’s biggest inspiration is her parents because they taught her to not give up on hard tasks and to follow her dreams. 

Her gift to the underclassmen is to know your friends. 

Her favorite quotes are “Job 39:19-25: Are you the one who gave the horse his prowess and adorned him with a shimmering mane? Did you create him to prance proudly and strike terror with his royal snorts? He paws the ground fiercely, eager and spirited, then charges into the fray. He laughs at danger, fearless, doesn’t shy away from the sword. The banging and clanging of quiver and lance don’t faze him. He quivers with excitement, and at the trumpet blast races off at a gallop. At the sound of the trumpet he neighs mightily, smelling the excitement of battle from a long way off, catching the rolling thunder of the war cries.” and “I blame the media!”

Bridgette is currently enrolled at the Kirkwood Bakery Program. After she graduates from that program, she is thinking about continuing her education in Business Management. 

“I have been excited to graduate for a very long time because I am ready to meet new people and start a new chapter in my life,” said Bridgette.
