Wyatt Steven VanDee


Wyatt Steven VanDee was born June 15, 1992 and is the son of Ruth VanDee and Dennis VanDee. He has one sister, Sarah. 
His achievements in high school include the A and B Honor Roll. In high school, he has been involved in football (4) and 4-H (3). His favorite thing to do is be in the field. His best memories are of being in shop class and watching Mrs. Weber blow up a beaker. 
His favorite song is “She’s Country” by Jason Aldean. His favorite saying is, “Peace out, love and cabbage.”
Wyatt’s biggest inspirations are: Grandma Netty: “Thank you for always being there and never letting me look down on anything.” And Lane VanDee: “Thanks for being there for me for the past four years and helping me with everything.” His gifts to underclassmen go to: Alex Coleman: “Keep it going in the shop.” And Jamie VanDee: “Thanks for being there for the past four years.” 
Wyatt is excited for graduation because he is ready to start a new chapter in his life. His advice before graduating is, “Keep your grades up and do your homework!” His goals for the future are to own the family farm and be happy with life after college. His college plans are to attend Kirkwood and get his Ag Production degree. In ten years, Wyatt sees himself living on his own farm, raising cattle and married with kids.

William Earl Johnson


William Earl Johnson was born March 26, 1992 and is the son of Duane and Patricia Johnson. 
He has been awarded the B Honor Roll and has been involved in football (1). His favorite thing to do is hang out with his friends. His best memories from high school are of the Breakfast Club in Frau’s room. His most embarrassing moment was when he reversed a car into a ditch. 
Bill’s biggest inspiration is his grandpa, because he’s hardworking and always encourages him. His favorite TV show is NCIS and his favorite saying is, “No pain, no gain.”
Bill is excited to graduate, because he is looking forward to being able to sleep in. His gift to underclassmen is: “Save your money.” His advice before graduating is, “Work hard and save money.” 
His college plans include getting a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Technology. His goal in the future is to live a debt-free life and in ten years, he sees himself possibly still in the military.

Dakota Robert McFatridge


Dakota Robert McFatridge was born January 15, 1993 and is the son of Judith Sumner, Dan Mahoney, Robert McFatridge and Kim McFatridge. He has 7 siblings, Darian McFatridge, Desiray Lint, Nick Mahoney, Mercades Mahoney, Michael Johnston, Michelle Johnston and Melissa Dunn.
His awards include varsity letters for baseball and football. Throughout school, he has been involved in baseball (12), track (2), tennis (1) and football (1). His favorite things to do are baseball and skateboarding. His best memories are of going out for football and going to the team nights. His most embarrassing moment was when a flat of plants flew out of his hands in the wind when he was carrying them for Mr. Swenson. 
His favorite song is “Don’t Worry” by Bob Marley. His favorite saying is, “Work hard, believe and never give up.” His gifts to underclassmen are to: Codi Townsend: “Fix your swing,” and Jarrod Kriegel: “Keep it real, don’t miss me too much.” His advice before graduating is, “Don’t wait until your senior year to get good grades.”
Dakota’s biggest inspirations are his dad and Tyler Lown. His dad inspired him by getting him interested in baseball when he was young and encouraging him. Tyler Lown has encouraged him because he’s been helping him graduate. 
Dakota is excited to graduate because he can’t wait for the summer and is ready to be on his own in college. His plan for college is to go to Ellsworth in Iowa Falls to play baseball. In ten years, he sees himself still playing baseball.

Alyson Jennifer MacKenzie Breese



Alyson Jennifer MacKenzie Breese was born on April 27, 1993 and is the daughter of Tom and Lorraine Breese. She has one brother, Dustin. 
Her awards and achievements include: A and B Honor Roll, Distinguished Academic Achievement for football cheerleading 2009 and 2010, wrestling cheerleading 2010-2011 and Colorguard 2010-2011. She has been involved in softball (2), football cheerleading (3), wrestling cheerleading (2), dance (13), Colorguard (3) and vocal (2). 
Her favorite things to do are to hang out with friends and go to Pag’s with the girls. Her best memories are from going to baseball games and Pag’s with the girls. Her most embarrassing moment was when she accidentally walked into the boys’ bathroom at state wrestling this year. 
Alyson’s favorite TV shows are The Nanny and That 70’s Show. Her favorite song is “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls. Her favorite saying is, “People say high school is about getting an education and getting into a good college to succeed in life. Well, to me, high school is about making memories and good times that last a lifetime.” 
Her biggest inspirations are her Grandma and Grandpa Cook, because they taught her to never let things bring her down and always have a positive outlook on life. Her gifts to underclassmen go to Maddi Dawley and Macy Taylor: “Never let anyone stand in your way of something you love doing.” 
She is excited to graduate because she is ready to be on her own and experience the real life. Her advice before graduating is, “Don’t wait until last minute to work on scholarships and get your senior pictures developed.”
Alyson’s goals in the future are to open her own Interior Design store and be rich! Her plan for college is to attend Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids for Interior Design. In ten years, Aly sees herself owning or managing an Interior Design business, married, and possibly with children.

Bret Micheal Rhodes



Bret Michael Rhodes was born July 7, 1992 and is the son of Kerry Caldwell and Scott Rhodes. He has two sisters and one brother, Alyssa, Makenna and Cody. 
His awards and achievements include: A and B Honor Roll, completing recruit training, Master of Arms training and Boys State 2010. Throughout high school, he has been involved in track, ROTC, football, basketball and cross country. 
Bret’s biggest inspiration is his mom. His favorite thing to do is run and his best memory is of Prom 2010. His favorite song is “Remember the Name” by Fort Minor and his favorite saying is, “Pain is temporary, pride is forever.” 
He is excited to graduate because he will be able to see the world. His advice before graduating is, “Never give up.”
Bret’s goal in the future is to travel the world with the military. He plans to go to college in a few years. In ten years, Bret sees himself still involved in the military.

Alexa Ann Wheaton



Alexa Ann Wheaton was born August 24, 1993 and is the daughter of Bob and Kasie Taylor and Harold Wheaton. She has three sisters, Destiney, Tiffanny and Kylee. 
Her awards and achievements in high school include: A and B Honor Roll, 2nd place Conduct of Meetings, 3rd place Soils, 1st place Ag Communications, 3rd place individual Ag Communications and 1st place Business Management for State FFA. For National FFA, she received 3rd place Ag Communication and 4th place Business Management. Throughout high school, Alexa has been involved in FFA (4), Speech & Drama (4), Student Council (1), dance (15) and yearbook (4).
Alexa’s favorite things to do are hang out with friends, shop and travel. Her best memories are from dressing up with the girls for games and riding in a cop car with SeƱora Stockman and Brittany Bryan during the Spanish trip to Chicago. Her most embarrassing moment was when she gave a presentation in front of her class and her “fly” was down. 
Her favorite song is “Better Than” by John Butler Trio. Her favorite shows are Army Wives and anything on Lifetime. Her favorite saying is, “Life is a coin; you can spend it anyway you want, but you can only spend it once.” 
Alexa says her biggest inspiration is, “Cathe Wilson for always being there and encouraging me to try new things and do my best. I hope to someday be half the person she is. Thanks for everything!” 
Her gifts to underclassmen are to Kylee Taylor: “Be all you can be and never give up! And remember to wake Tiff up in the morning!” and Reece McCaslen: “Continue working hard at everything, have the ability to survive your everyday life without me, don’t throw too many darts at your mom and dad and, oh yeah, go Buckeyes!” 
Alexa is somewhat excited to graduate; she is excited to start a new chapter in her life but is not excited to move away from her friends and family. Her advice before graduating is, “Always do your best and enjoy every minute of high school because it really does go as fast as everyone says!” 
Her college plans are to attend Central College in the fall and double major in elementary education and special education. Her goals in the future are to finish college, begin teaching elementary and hopefully travel to other countries to help children. 
In ten years, Alexa sees herself married, maybe with children and teaching somewhere as great as Montezuma School!

Katurah Arial McKee



Katurah Arial McKee was born August 23, 1993 and is the daughter of Rodney and Roxann McKee. She has one brother, Tyler. She is also known as Katy, KT and K-Swizz.
Her awards and achievements include: A and B honor roll, 1st in State Ag Communications and Business Management, 2010 Girls State Representative, 3rd in National Ag Communication and becoming the 2010 Homecoming Queen. She has been involved in FFA (4), basketball (4), Speech & Drama (4), National Honor Society (3), volleyball (4), track (2) and Colorguard (3).
Her favorite things to do are work out with the senior girls, eat apples, shop and watch movies, especially Harry Potter
Her best memories are of going to all of the baseball games with Teona and Hope, just being around everyone she has known for so long and making countless memories. She has way too many embarrassing memories to count; when her face is red it usually means she is embarrassed or laughing, which is a daily occurrence. 
Her biggest inspiration is her mom because she has taught her to persevere to achieve her goals, be strong and always keep her faith in God. Katurah’s favorite movie is Pocahontas. Her favorite songs are anything that she can sing and dance to. Her favorite saying is, “The world looks brighter from behind a smile.” 
Katurah is excited to graduate because it will be the beginning of the rest of her life. Her advice before graduating is, “Never live down to expectations, go through high school and do something remarkable.”
Her goals in the future are to work in another country with less fortunate children as a nurse practitioner. Her plans for college are to attend UNI for pre-nursing. In ten years, she sees herself somewhere in the city, doing her thing and just living her life to the fullest.

Kirk George Salnave



Kirk George Salnave was born August 14, 1992 and is the son of George and Terry Salnave. He has two sisters, Kyla and Kaitlin. 
His awards and achievements throughout high school include letter for track (3 years); letter (4), Honorable Mention (1), 2nd Team All-District, 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-State and team captain for football; letter (4), Honorable Mention (1) and 1st Team All-District (2) for baseball. 
Kirk’s favorite things to do are hang out with his family and friends and, of course, play Call of Duty. He also likes to spend time with his girlfriend, Kelsey. 
His best memories of high school are going to the UNI-dome in 2006 and building friendships through sports. 
His most embarrassing moment was having to dance on stage in front of 500 people at Young Life.
Throughout high school, Kirk has been involved in football (4), baseball (4), basketball (3), track (3), Speech and Drama (1), National Honor Society (3) and student council. 
His favorite movie is Joe Dirt and his favorite saying is, “It puts the lotion on the skin.”
His gift to underclassmen goes to Matt Armstrong: “PS3’s suck and Xbox’s rule. And they have a very heavy burtation.”
Kirk’s goals in the future are to graduate from college in Des Moines and to own his own business. His college plans are to go to Drake University and major in Business Management. In ten years, he sees himself married with his own business. 
He is excited to graduate because even though he’ll miss his friends, he’s ready to start the next stage of his life. His advice before graduating is: “Have fun in school, it goes by fast.” 

Hope Nicole Kriegel



Hope Nicole Kriegel was born January 30, 1993 and is the daughter of Lori Kriegel. She has one brother, Kaleb. 
Her awards and achievements include the A and B honor rolls, Honorable Mention All-Conference for basketball (4) and volleyball (2), 2nd Team All-Conference volleyball (1), school record for kills, All Academic Team volleyball and basketball and performing individual All-State nominee. She has been involved in volleyball (4), basketball (4), Speech & Drama (4), track (2) and softball (4). 
Hope’s favorite things to do are hanging out with friends and eating. Her most embarrassing moment was when she was a sophomore and performed her individual speech in front of the seniors and there was a hole in the butt of her pants and nobody told her. 
Her best memory is from seeing the community rally behind the volleyball team this year and believing in them. Her favorite TV show is Criminal Minds and her favorite songs are “Meet Virginia” by Train and “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls. Her favorite sayings are “When life hands you lemons, smile and make orange juice and leave everyone wondering how you did it,” and “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain.”
Hope’s biggest inspiration is her mom because she has always been there to support her, no matter what, and has taught her to always get back up, keep fighting and believe in herself. 
Her gifts to underclassmen go to: Kaleb – “Keep mom from going crazy next year and always be yourself!” Aly James – “Keep shooting! Don’t ever stop believing in yourself.” Emily Long – “Find someone who can beat on you in practice and will be able to make you smile with one little comment!” Tyler Swenson – “Keep annoying Bates!” 
She is excited to graduate because she is excited to go out on her own and make her mark on the world. Her advice before graduating is, “Don’t take anything for granted; love every second you have, be crazy, be loud and most of all – be a kid and love yourself.” 
Hope’s goals in the future are to take care of her family and live happily ever after. Her college plans are to go to UNI and get her degree in social work. In ten years, Hope sees herself doing something she loves and married to a wonderful man with a child.

Corbin is excited for graduation because he is ready to start his life. His plans for college are to go to Hawkeye then transfer to UNI.

Teona Lenea Sutfin was born August 27, 1992 and is the daughter of Sean Sutfin. She has one sister and two brothers, Chelsey, Thomas and Robby.

Her extracurricular activities include Speech and Drama (4), Individuals (2), Colorguard (4), National Honor Society (3), Wrestling Cheerleading (2) and Yearbook.
Her favorite thing to do is dressing up with the girls to support the Braves and Bravettes. Her best memories are of making sack-suits with Olivia to explore the lake in the rain. Her most embarrassing moment was running through the entire junior high with her pants falling off and Shannon and Olivia couldn’t tell her because they were laughing so hard.
Her favorite TV shows are Army Wives and American Idol and her favorite song is “Picture” by Cheryl Crow and Kid Rock. Her favorite saying is “You can have it all, you just can’t have it all at once.” – Oprah Winfrey
Her biggest inspiration is SeƱora Stockman because she taught her to be strong and never let someone break her down.
Teona’s gifts to underclassmen go to Robby Sutfin- “The ability to keep dad company next year without me” and Shena Bryan- “Waddya want, Red? The game starts at six.” 
She is excited to graduate because she is excited to see what life has in store for her next. 
Her advice before graduating is, “Get involved. You never know what you’re missing out on.” 
Teona’s plans for college are to go to DMACC for Dental Hygiene with Niamh. In ten years, she sees herself married with kids and “living the dream.”

Garrett Matthew Ogan



Garrett Matthew Ogan was born January 9, 1993 and is the son of Matt and Missy Ogan. He has two sisters, Halley and Jessica. 
His awards and achievements include A and B honor rolls, honorable mention, 2nd team All-Conference, 2nd team All-District twice and 1st team All-Conference for baseball. 
For football, he has received KGRN All-Area team twice, 1st team All-District twice, 3rd team All-State and 2nd team All-State.
His favorite thing to do is play football. Garrett’s extracurricular activities include football (4), wrestling (1), baseball (4) and track (4).
His best memories are going hooding with Bryan and Devon. His favorite TV show is Two and a Half Men and his favorite saying is “chicks.”
Garrett’s biggest inspiration is Clint Eastwood because he’s awesome. His gift to underclassmen goes to Alex “Animal” Brownell- “Rock on.”
Garrett’s goals in the future are to finish college, get a job and be successful. He is still undecided about where he wants to go to college.
He is not excited to graduate because he will miss his mom. His advice before graduating is “Have fun in high school because it doesn’t last long enough.”

Courtney Anne Latcham



Courtney Anne Latcham was born February 23, 1993 and is the daughter of Craig and Kay Latcham. She has two brothers, Corey and Chad.
Her awards and achievements from State FFA include 2nd place Conduct of Meetings, 3rd place Soils, 1st place Ag communications and 1st place Business Management. From National FFA they include 4th place Business Management and 3rd place Ag Communications. 
Other awards and achievements include honorable mention for basketball and volleyball, 2nd team all conference for volleyball, A-honor roll for four years and honorable mention for Speech and Drama.
Courtney’s favorite things to do is to be with friends and shop. Her extracurricular activities include volleyball (4), basketball (4), FFA (4), Speech and Drama (4), Student Council (4), Colorguard (4), National Honor Society (3) and track (2). 
Her best memories while attending MHS have been going to Pagliai’s with the girls, having sleep overs and staying up until the morning hours talking. 
Her most embarrassing moment was during a ski trip at Fun Valley when she was behind Teona and Shannon on the ski lift. They were talking to her so she forgot to get off the ski lift. They had to stop the lift and help her down while everyone else was laughing. 
Her favorite TV shows are Keeping Up with the Kardashians and America’s Funniest Home Videos. Her favorite saying is “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.” –Dr. Seuss 
Courtney’s biggest inspiration is her mom because she taught her everything she knows and always told her to be the best person she could be. 
Her gifts to underclassmen are to Alexis Ferguson- “Stay shining, Skunky! Keep following your dreams,” and to Kale, Chloe and Kaya Latcham- “Be all you can be, never give up and enjoy the ride along the way.”
Her goals for the future are to finish school, start her own salon and eventually manage other well-known salons. 
Her plans for college are to start in June at Capri College in Cedar Rapids, get her cosmetology and makeup artistry licenses, then go to University of Iowa to get her bachelor's degree in business.
Courtney is excited to graduate and be on her own and be independent. She will, however, miss her family and friends. 
Her advice before graduating is “Never settle. Do what you love. No matter what others may say or think, follow your heart and make yourself happy.”
In ten years, Courtney sees herself married with a few children and managing a salon out on the west coast.

Spencer Lee Roorda




Spencer Roorda is the son of Brian and Liesl Roorda. He was born on August 4, 1992 and has 3 siblings: Sidney, Waverly and Isabella. 
Spencer’s favorite activities have been playing high school sports while being with his friends. His best memory was going to the dome for the 2006 football championship football game.
Spencer’s extracurricular activities have been football (4), basketball (4), track (2), baseball (4), racing 4-wheelers (5) and Speech & Drama (4). 
His favorite movie is Inception, and his favorite saying is “The trouble with normal is it always gets worse.” 
His gift to underclassmen goes to Bryan Gregson: “Put it away, Gregson,” and his advice to everyone is to “participate in as many extracurricular activities with your friends as possible.” 
Spencer is excited for graduation because he is ready to move on to the next stage but will find it difficult to let go of everything he has gotten attached to at Montezuma. 
His college plans are to attend ISU and study mechanical engineering.

Calli Ann Zimmerman



Calli Ann Zimmerman is the daughter of David and Ellen Zimmerman. Calli was born on March 7, 1993 and has 2 sisters: Courtney Borwig and Cari Reider. 
Calli’s favorite activities are singing, dancing, hanging out with friends and babysitting her favorite nephew, Keegan. 
Calli says her best memory at Montezuma was getting to know everyone her senior year and being included in things like senior girls’ breakfast and homecoming activities. 
Calli has been involved in: volleyball (2), pom squad (3), softball (1), FFA (3), cheerleading (3) and speech (2) at English Valleys. In Montezuma, she has been involved in: speech and drama (1) and FFA (1). 
Her awards and achievements have included: A and B honor roll, National Honor Society, 5 varsity letters, Girls State representative and Team Dance Academy best showmanship.
Calli’s most embarrassing memory while attending high school was performing at Vets Auditorium for state dance competition and ripping her jeans.  
Calli enjoys watching Whose Line is it Anyway, American Pickers and The Red Green Show. 
Her biggest inspiration is her daddy because he always does things without her having to ask. He takes on many responsibilities and always finishes them no matter what time it is. 
Calli’s gift to underclassmen is to Kendra Cranston: “This year flies; do your work and have fun because we can never repeat the past.” Her advice before graduating is, “Do well in your first couple of years because it will bite you in the rear when applying for scholarships.”
“Flying is simple. All you have to do is throw yourself at the ground and miss,” is one of Calli’s favorite quotes. 
Calli is somewhat excited to graduate; she is ready for the change but doesn’t look forward to doing her own laundry. 
Calli plans to go open-minded to Iowa State University in the fall but is focusing on agriculture businesses or Economics. She hopes to be happy and successful in the future. 
Ten years from now Calli hopes to be married to an amazing man with a good job who can cook and have a nice house.

Shannon Lynn Sutfin



Shannon Lynn Sutfin was born on April 10, 1993 and is the daughter of Bill and Tammy Sutfin. She has two brothers, Brandon and Bryant. 
Her awards and achievements from FFA at state have consisted of: 2nd place conduct of meetings, 3rd place soils, 1st place ag communications and 1st place business management. At FFA Nationals they have been: 4th place business management and 3rd place ag communications. Other achievements have been the National Honor Society and the A-honor roll for 4 years. 
Her favorite hobby is dance, and her extracurricular activities have been basketball (4), volleyball (4), winterguard (4) dance (14) Track (2) and FFA (4). 
Her best memories in high school have been going to football games, Pagliai’s and having sleepovers with the girls. Her most embarrassing moment was when “Hilary, Damon, Devon and I went to go pick out tuxes for prom at Three Sisters and as I was getting out of Hilary’s car my pants ripped all the way down my rear end. I had to help pick out tuxes with my shirt pulled down to cover the big rip!” 
Shannon’s favorite T.V. show is America’s Funniest Home Videos, and her favorite saying is “Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.” –Marilyn Monroe. 
Her biggest inspiration is her mother and her gift to underclassmen goes to Aly James and Shena Bryan - “Keep doin’ your thang in dance next year. Expect a call every Thursday night from me.” And to Bryant Sutfin - “I’m sure you’ll get away with even more as soon as I’m gone, but have fun! Miss you, little brother!” 
Her advice to everyone is “know where you want to go to college and what you want to do before it is crunch time. It’s never too late to start planning for your future.”
Shannon plans on attending Grandview College for four years, pass her state boards and become a registered nurse. She is excited for graduation because she wants to get into the world and experience the “college life.”

Marisa Ann Bushong



Marisa Bushong is the daughter of Rex and Kim Bushong. She was born on August 9, 1992 and has 3 siblings: Blake, Lucas and Emmy. 
Her favorite achievement was getting her poem published in 9th grade. Her favorite activity is having bonfires. She has been involved in basketball, volleyball and track each for two years. 
Her favorite experiences and memories while attending MHS have been “Hanging out with my friends and swimming at the pond on summer days.” 
Her most embarrassing moment was “Falling down the bleachers at a home game in the student section!” Her favorite T.V. show is One Tree Hill
Marisa’s biggest inspiration is her parents because “they taught me that even though times get rough, you can always make it through.” 
Her gift to underclassmen goes to all underclassmen, “Don’t lose yourself in the chaos of high school, be yourself and they will love you. If they don’t that’s their problem, not yours.” Marisa’s favorite saying is “Never tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon.”
Some advice she has to give before graduating is “Find something that you love to do and go for it. It’s your life, take control of it.” 
She is excited for graduation because “We get to go to bigger places and explore outside of our safety nets. It’s scary but exciting.” Her goal is to get her RN and start working near her hometown. She plans to go to DMACC to get her RN. 
 In ten years she hopes to live close to Monte and starting a family of her own.

Alexander Eugene Peck



Alex Peck is the son of Don and Brenda Peck. He was born on Sept. 30, 1992 and has one brother, Joe. 
His achievements throughout high school have been: 3rd place Ag Communications team and 4th place Business Management at the national FFA convention, Boys State rep and Torch Club. 
His extracurricular activities have been track and football manager for two years and speech for 4 years. 
His favorite activities are 4-wheeling, playing X-Box 360, playing on his computer and iPod and bowling. His favorite memories throughout high school were morning breakfast time in Frau’s room with Clark, Cranston and Vic every morning. 
Alex says his funniest moment at MHS happened on their Washington D.C. trip when “Harold Wheeler sat on the tall ashtray in his dress clothes, and then after we had all been told to put our napkins in our laps he tucked it in his shirt like a bib at a classy restaurant.” 
His favorite T.V. shows are Family Guy and Two and a Half Men. Alex’s favorite saying is, “The great thing about being an American is you get to make choices”- Mr. Dennis Wilson. 
Alex’s biggest inspiration is Grandma Betty because she’s always working and helping other people and because she’s always on the go. 
His gift to underclassmen goes to Nathan Wheeler and his advice to everyone is “Take foreign language even if you don’t think you need it! Plans do change and nothing is set in stone until you get there.” 
Alex is excited for graduation because he wants to go on to bigger and better challenges. 
His goal is to graduate college with no grades lower than a B. He is planning on attending ISU for engineering.

Paige Marie Watson


Paige Watson is the daughter of Brian and Dawn Watson and Karla Bauer. She has three sib- lings, Bree, Camden and Ryan. She was born on May 22 of 1993.
Her awards and achievements throughout high school have consisted of A and B honor roll, and All Conference Academic Team in Volleyball. Her extracurricular activities have included volleyball for four years and soccer for two.
Her favorite activity is being with friends. Her best memory is “being able to move back to Monte after being in Wisconsin for six years and recre- ate friendships with all my old friends and new ones.” Her most embar- rassing moment was back- ing into Jamie Schultz’s Trans Am at the square and having everybody laugh at her.
Paige’s biggest inspira- tion is her sister because “she is always there for me and encourages me to be the best I can be.” Her favorite sayings are “Everything happens for a reason,” and “Roll with the punches.”
Paige’s gifts to under- classmen go to Camden Watson and Courtney Peterson and her advice is “get your work done and then relax and have fun!”
Her future plans are to attend UNI and eventu- ally become an elemen- tary teacher and guidance counselor. She is excited for graduation because she’s ready to be indepen- dent and go to college, but she will miss high school.

Niamh Elizabeth Lyons


Niamh Elizabeth Lyons was born on February 23rd, 1993 and is the daughter of Mick and Amanda Lyons. She has 7 siblings, Conor, Carol, Shane, Niall, Mikey, Eoin, and Aoife Lyons.
Her awards throughout high school have included the A honor roll, and perfect attendance. Her favorite hobby is hanging out with her friends and going shopping. Some of her best memories have been going out to eat with her friends. Her extracurricular activities include yearbook for three years and cross-country for one. One of her funniest memories was when she first came to Montezuma schools and everybody thought her name was Leaf. 
Her favorite T.V. show is Ellen. Her biggest inspiration is “my daddy, because he has taught me to work hard for what I want.” Niamh is very excited for graduation because she doesn’t like school that much, and she can’t wait for summer. Her gift to underclassmen goes to Macayla Gregson- “Don’t be so weird.” We wish you the best of luck in your future Niamh!

Bryan Jacob Stanford



Bryan Jacob Stanford, born on November 17, 1993, is the son of Jeff and Debby Stanford. He has a brother, Chad Stanford, and a sister, Amy Higgins. 
His achievements throughout high school have consisted of 2009 State Track Qualifier, 2009 All Conference Baseball, 2009 1st Team All District Football, 2010 State Track qualifier, 2010 All Conference Baseball and the A and B honor rolls. 
His favorite hobbies are hanging out with his friends and playing sports. His extracurricular activities are Football, Basketball, Track, Baseball, and Speech and Drama, all for 4 years. 
His best memory while at Montezuma has been going to the Dome. His funniest moments are every day at practice with the Animal, Alex Brownell and his favorite movies are The Boon Dock Saints, and. His biggest inspiration is his family. 
 His favorite saying is “Champions act like champions” – Partner Maschmann. Bryan’s gift to underclassmen goes to Stephen Vavroch- “The ability to achieve greatness,” and to Robby Sutfin-"Chicks".

Alaina Jayde Kriegel



Alaina Jayde Kriegel is the daughter of Lisa Sanchez. She was born on April 9, 1993. She has a sister Alexis and a brother Jarrod. 
Her achievement in high school included Mole Queen in Chemistry. Her favorite activity is hanging out with her friends. When asked about extracurricular activities she answers, “I’m too busy eating, driving, watching shark week, and being lazy to have extracurricular activities.”  
Her best memories have been having fun and laughing with her friends. Her most embarrassing moment was on her first day of school at lunch when she knocked the phone off and everyone laughed.  Her favorite song is “Throwin’ Fingers.” Her biggest inspiration is her mommy. 
In the future she plans to attend college and someday travel abroad in a hippie van and enjoy life. Alaina’s favorite sayings are “When in doubt, make cupcakes” –Brandi Mae Klos, and “Herb is the healing of the nation, alcohol is the destruction” –Bob Marley.  
Her gift to underclassmen goes to Jj and Billy, “BHANG ALL DAY!” She also says to every underclassman “[know] your abc’s.” She is excited for graduation because she wants to get out and experience a new way of being.
