Austin Paul Batreall



Austin Paul Battreall was born on June 4, 1993 and is the son of Kevin and Vicki Battreall. He has two brothers, Logan and Grant Battreall. 
His awards and achievements in football include being a letter winner (4), receiving an Honorable Mention, Golden Award (2), an Honor M award and becoming Team Captain. In track, he was a letter winner (3), and he participated in State Competition during his junior year. In baseball, Austin was a letter winner (3), received the Mr. Clutch award in 2010 and was on the second place All-Conference Team (2), as well as being a part of the team that won Conference in 2011.
Austin’s favorite activities are hanging out with his girlfriend Ashley Crosby, playing video games with his brothers and watching movies with his family. 
His extracurricular activities include football (4), baseball (4), track (3), National Honor Society (3) and basketball (1).
Austin’s best experience while attending MHS was playing on the baseball team when Montezuma became Conference champions and set the school wins record. 
His biggest inspiration is his cousin Brant Smothers. Austin said, “He taught me most of the things I needed to learn in sports before I started them.” 
Austin’s gift to the underclassmen goes to his brothers Logan and Grant, “Give everything all you got, but most important, have fun doing it.”
His favorite quote is, “Go big or go home.”
He plans to attend William Penn University and major in Accounting and Business Management.
Austin is excited for graduation because, “I can get on with my life and start working on things that are important to me. Also, once school is out, it is time for baseball. I’m excited to play my last season.”
