Morgan Leigh Sanders was born on February 15, 1994 and is the daughter of Loren and Renee Sanders. She has one brother, Dillon Sanders.
Morgan’s achievements include being on the A and B Honor Roll for four years.
Her favorite hobbies are driving around with friends while listening to music, going to movies, shopping, walking and bowling.
Morgan’s extracurricular activities include yearbook (4), cheerleading (3), vocal (3), journalism (2), Speech & Drama (1) and school musicals (1).
Her best memories while attending MHS were making new friendships through her experience in cheerleading.
Morgan’s most embarrassing moment was getting slammed into a wall by a player from BGM while cheering at a basketball game.
Her biggest inspiration is her grandma Linda Sanders because she is the strongest woman she knows.
Her gift to the underclassmen goes to Makayla Slings and Monika Fetzer, “Stay preppy!” To Cassie Farrington, “Keep eating those Wheat Thins.” To her brother Dillon, “Listen to Mom and Dad; they know what they’re talking about.” To everyone else, “Every year counts; don’t slack off.”
Morgan’s favorite quotes are, “No day but today,” “Just smile,” and “Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about.”
Her plans for the future are to attend the University of Northern Iowa to major in Interactive Digital Studies.
Morgan is excited for graduation because she is excited to start fresh at college but isn’t at the same time because she will be leaving many of her friends behind.
