Shelby Marie Louise Peter McCulley was born September 6, 1993 and is the daughter of Michael Peter and Debbie and Bob McCulley. She has six siblings, Michelle, Matt, Alex, Bobby, Andy and Mackenzie.
Her awards and achievements include being on the B Honor Roll and being the President of FCCLA her junior year. While in high school, she has been involved in FCCLA (3) and yearbook (2). Her favorite thing to do is make spaghetti sauce because she’s “pretty good at it.” Her best memories in high school are eating lunch with her friends and working in the greenhouse with Alaina. Her most embarrassing moment was when she ran away from all the spiders in Horticulture class. Her favorite song is “I Say Hello” by J. Black.
Shelby’s gift to underclassmen is to Bobby, Chelsey, Hopwood and all her friends: “Give ‘em heck!” Her advice before graduating is: “Tough’n up. School will be over before you know it!”
Shelby is excited to graduate because she is ready to get out of small-town Iowa and do something fun. Her future goals are to move to Texas and major in forensic science and criminal justice.
