Kayla Marie-Leanne Evans was born July 23, 1993 and is the daughter of Traci Murray. She has two siblings, Maranda Evans and Alex Hoffpauir.
Her favorite things to do are write and sing. In high school, she has been involved in choir (3). Her best memories were made in Government class with Ms. Orr and all the seniors. Her most embarrassing moment was when she slipped and fell at lunch with her tray full of food. Her biggest inspiration is her mother.
Kayla’s favorite song is “Friday” by Rebecca Black and her favorite saying is, “Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you.”
Her gift to an underclassman is to her brother Alex – “Study hard, and don’t forget school is supposed to be fun. When you graduate, things change and you have more responsibilities. Make sure you live your life to the fullest and never give up on your dreams.”
Her advice before graduating is, “Do not put off anything, start applying for colleges as soon as possible.”
Kayla is excited to graduate because she is ready to begin her life on her own and to make her and her family proud. Her goals in the future are to live in her own place, have a family and her own business.
Her college plans are to attend William Penn for Mechanical Engineering. In ten years, Kayla sees herself with a family, living in Florida and working as a mechanical engineer.
